Starting therapy can feel like a big decision, but getting started with us is simple. Our process is designed to be clear, supportive, and tailored to your needs from the very beginning. In just five easy steps, you’ll move from filling out your questionnaire to meeting your therapist for your first session. Start by completing our brief matching questionnaire. It only takes a few minutes and helps our Client Care Team understand your goals, preferences, and availability. Your answers allow us to connect you with therapists who are best suited to your needs and schedule.
Within 1–2 business days, you’ll receive personalized therapist recommendations from our Client Care Team. Every match is made by a real person — not an algorithm — so you can trust that your options are thoughtful, informed, and aligned with what you’re looking for in therapy.

Schedule Complimentary 30-Minute Phone Consultations

Once you receive your matches, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule free 30-minute consultations with any therapist you’d like to meet. These meetings are a chance to ask questions, get a sense of each therapist’s style, and see who feels like the best fit before beginning ongoing sessions.
After you’ve found your therapist and scheduled your first session, you’ll receive an email from our secure client portal with your intake paperwork. This includes essential forms that help your therapist learn more about you and prepare for your first session. Please fill these out at least 24 hours before your first session to ensure that your therapist has time to review them before meeting with you.

Have Your First Session

Your first session is a chance to connect, share what brought you to therapy, and start building a supportive relationship with your therapist. There’s no need to prepare — your therapist will guide the conversation and help you feel comfortable as you get started.
If you’re meeting in person, you’ll receive a personalized PIN code to access our Midtown suite. You can check in using our iPad receptionist and relax in our peaceful waiting area, where you’ll find complimentary tea and filtered water. Your therapist will meet you in reception when it’s time for your session.
If you’re meeting via telehealth, you’ll receive a secure session link a few minutes before your appointment. Log in from any private, comfortable space, and connect with your therapist face-to-face through our secure platform.
From there, you and your therapist will continue meeting at a pace that supports your goals, adjusting frequency and focus as your needs evolve.
