  • We are an out-of-network practice, which means we don’t bill insurance companies directly. Instead, we’ll check your benefits for you so you know exactly what to expect, and we provide monthly superbills that you can submit to your insurance for potential partial reimbursement. Many of our clients find that out-of-network coverage makes therapy more affordable than they initially expected. We believe transparency is essential, so you’ll always know what your options are before committing.

  • Each 45-50 minute session is $175. We’ve chosen this rate intentionally, keeping it lower than many other private practices in Manhattan while still ensuring high-quality, personalized care. We also value being upfront about finances so you can plan without surprises. Our Client Care Team is happy to walk you through reimbursement options and ways to make therapy sustainable for your budget.

  • Yes, you can meet with your therapist in our welcoming Midtown office or through secure telehealth anywhere in New York State. Many clients enjoy the flexibility of telehealth, especially when managing busy schedules or long commutes, while others prefer the grounding experience of being in the therapy room. Some choose a combination of both, depending on what feels best week to week. Whatever you choose, the quality of care and connection with your therapist will remain the same.

  • Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of starting therapy, and we know it can feel daunting. Our Client Care Team will guide you through a personalized matching process, taking your needs, preferences, and goals into account to recommend therapists who may be the best fit. Within 1–2 days, you’ll receive recommendations and have the chance to schedule free 30-minute consultations with potential therapists. These consultations give you the opportunity to ask questions, get a feel for the therapist’s style, and make sure you feel comfortable before committing.

  • Most sessions are 45–50 minutes long, which allows enough time for meaningful exploration without feeling overwhelming. Some clients prefer longer or more frequent sessions depending on what they’re working through, and our therapists can tailor the length to your needs. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and we want you to feel supported in finding a rhythm that works best for you.

  • Weekly sessions are the most common, as they provide steady support and help build momentum in the therapeutic process. However, therapy is flexible, and some clients choose to meet more frequently during times of transition, crisis, or growth. Your therapist will collaborate with you to decide what frequency makes the most sense for your goals and schedule. The focus is always on creating a plan that feels both manageable and effective.

  • Many of our therapists have immediate openings, so you won’t have to wait long to begin. After filling out our brief matching questionnaire, you’ll receive personalized recommendations within 1–2 days. From there, you can schedule a free 30-minute consultation to see if a therapist feels like the right fit for you. Once you’ve found your match, you can book your first session at a time that works for your schedule — sometimes as soon as the same week. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and we aim to make the process smooth, supportive, and welcoming.
